Picture
You have some scribblings in a journal
or two or three.

You know you have a story to write,
but you have no idea where to begin.

You feel stuck.

There is a way through the stuck!

I think every writer has this feeling of not knowing exactly how to say what they want to say. How can words truly express it? How can we structure our stories when we've lived them ourselves, when they can feel so chaotic and messy?

The process of writing one's story is also a process of healing. It can't be rushed.
There will be different layers to the unfolding of the story,
just as there are different layers to healing.

During the initial stages of shaping your personal experience into a book that will be read by many, it is helpful to know that you are not alone.
There are many writers who have asked the same questions:

Where do I begin?
How do I get words on the page?
How do I know what to leave in and what to leave out?
How do I take my most vulnerable truths and make them readable?

On the one hand, you are not supposed to know all the answers to your questions. You are creating something that has never, ever been created before and only your curiosity and trust in the process will lead the way to your finished book.

On the other hand, it is helpful to have guidance and support during the developmental stages of your writing process.

How I Can Help
Through a one-on-one mentorship with me,
we will meet online or over the phone so that you can:

Get advice on how to get "unstuck"
Learn ways to turn your notes and journal entries into scenes for your book
Find what motivates your main character (you) in order to drive the story's action forward
Discover your flow and what works best for you as a writer
Find out what action steps to take next to get you to where you want to be
Navigate the fears that come when putting yourself on the page
Stop thinking so much about what others (and family members) may think
and write the story that liberates

Did I miss something?
I'm sure I did because with each unique writer comes a unique set of needs.
I'm here to support you in these beginning stages of writing
and you can feel free to request a one-on-one consultation with me
in regards to any issue that arises in your writing process.

How It Works

1. Send an email to: kirstynlazur@gmail.com. In the email, tell me a little bit about yourself, where you are in your early stages of writing and what issue you'd like to discuss.

2. You will receive a response in 24-48 hours and we will set up a free 30 minute consultation call to assess what YOU need to get to your writing goal.

3. After the call, I will gather any materials and resources that I think will be particularly helpful to your situation and send them to you via email.
The resources provided will support you in your next steps.

I'm excited to be your mentor and so much more excited for your truth to make its way onto the page.
