When You Meet Malevolent Magic

When you first meet, Malevolent Magic hands you the sweet answer you’ve been searching for.

All the chaos now has a name.
All the hurt is now explained,
A perfect remedy for the pain.

The solution will only cost a little or a lot, but it’s worth it.  After all, there will be no more earthly pain for you.  Once you swallow the remedy, you will be healed and your family protected.  At last, things will come with great ease: money, love, cars, jobs, homes, safety, whatever it is you seek, will now flow to you, the blockage removed.

Malevolent Magic will ask for your complete faith.  It will whisper, “Don’t tell anyone.  We must protect this remedy.  Others will try to destroy it.  We cannot let them.”

Your sealed lips are the outward sign of your faith. You leave thinking, “Yes.  That explains it.  Now, I know what must be done.”

Once home, a question arises and then another and another.  The sweet answer births millions more questions. They all slither in and out and round your head. There is doubt and self-doubt.  It was there before you met Malevolent Magic, but is now amplified.  You must not speak of it.  You promised.

In Malevolent Magic, there are more questions, less You.

In Love, You have You.  All of You.  More than all of You.  Infinite You.
In Love, questions morph into wonder and awe.
In Love, questions turn to dust swallowed
